Angel-Ariel Casas
On June 2020, Angel-Ariel was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic testicular cancer at 28. The cancer has spread to his lungs, lymph nodes, and liver. After 3 major surgeries and 12 weeks of intense chemotherapy, Angel was cancer-free on March 25, 2021. We were privileged to have more time with him on this earth for 2 more years before his unexpected passing on April 27, 2023. During these past 2 years, Angel made it his mission to help others fight cancer. As a fitness coach, entrepreneur, and nutritionist, he helped educate others on the importance of fitness and health. He created a YouTube series to document his cancer journey called “Survivor,” and used his social media platform to encourage and lend a helping hand to those in need. His goal was to create a platform for people battling cancer and use his story as a source of hope to help others get through their journey. During Angel’s fight, he never missed a workout during his 12-week chemo sessions. He continued to work on his business by helping people with their fitness goals. And 14 months after being cancer free, he competed twice on a body-building stage as a natural competitor and got signed to be an ambassador for a supplement brand. Angel's story continues to inspire us daily. He leaves us with immense motivational content and knowledge on his social media. Continuously reminding us to be grateful for every day that we live on this earth and that there is nothing we cannot overcome. His legacy will forever live in our hearts. My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
